On the afternoon of October 6th, Huayuan Environment completed the preparation of 4000 square meters of ceramic film and components, and officially sent them to Inner Mongolia Jiutai New Materials Co., Ltd. The batch of equipment will be applied to Jiutai's newly built coal chemical company located in the industrial park of Tuoketuo County, Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia. This is also another major breakthrough in Huayuan Environment's expansion of different membrane application directions and the first application of ceramic membranes and special MBR processes in the field of coal chemical wastewater treatment, following two municipal wastewater treatment projects with a daily treatment capacity of 20000 tons, namely the Third Sewage Treatment Plant of Zhangjiagang Water Supply and Drainage Company and the Urban Sewage Treatment Plant of Dinghu District, Zhaoqing, Guangdong Environmental Protection Group.

As early as in the early stages of project negotiations, Huayuan Environmental Technology Team went to the Inner Mongolia site and had multiple discussions with the owner's technical team. In response to the characteristics of wastewater generated during the owner's coal chemical production process, it was decided to adopt a different design scheme for the ceramic membrane components in this project from the previous projects, using a non-standard design route of three layer membrane groups. This is unprecedented in the industry. The MBR process and pipeline connection method used in this project were independently designed by Huayuan Environment, and the overall plan and technical agreement were drafted in a very short time. The contract was successfully signed on October 1st. The batch of ceramic membranes and spare parts will be delivered to the owner's site before October 10th, and the installation and commissioning work is expected to be completed by the end of November. It is reported that the first phase of the Jiutai project will use 4000 square meters of flat ceramic membranes, and 30000 square meters of flat ceramic membranes will be used after reaching the production capacity.
The implementation of this project will help Huayuan Environment seize the market field of advanced treatment and reuse of coal chemical wastewater, and assist large domestic chemical enterprises in gradually achieving energy conservation, emission reduction, and resource utilization of wastewater. Huayuan Environment will also take this project as an opportunity to continue to break through the application difficulties of ceramic membranes, coordinate the contradiction between ecological and environmental issues in coal chemical industry and energy demand, maximize wastewater reuse, save water resources, and alleviate the severe shortage of water resources in society.
Currently, Huayuan Environment has achieved considerable performance and experience in the field of domestic sewage. However, Huayuan's market will not be limited to domestic sewage. In the future, it will focus on expanding water treatment projects in different membrane application directions, and play a greater role in the wider application market of ceramic membranes.
